I approach advocacy and IEP coaching differently than most folks. Part of that is my background, which is in sales and finance rather than education and administration. My past workplaces solved problems instead of minimizing or hiding them. Consequently, I focus more on the student’s needs and less on where the team disagrees. This method increases my success rate with IEP teams. By keeping my focus on the child, I often sidestep personality clashes, refocus the school team on the student, and create a solid plan for the parents to follow. Making education better and more accessible is my goal for every client, every IEP team, and every meeting. I was a volunteer advocate for many years, helping people for free simply because they needed assistance. I started my business in 2016 to help more families. My 14 years of experience, both paid and volunteer, has given me a wide exposure to different situations and unique solutions.
